With healthcare facilities across the country seeing rapid patient demographic changes and the need to “match cost to acuity” when it came to interpreting services, our physician founders saw an opportunity.
They surmised that having qualified, specialized medical interpreters available on video, on demand, in professional language centers, would give providers and patients the immediate access they needed to a multitude of languages (including American Sign Language) while also ensuring security, privacy, compliance and cost savings.
That was 2003. Today Language Access Network is the industry leader in trusted healthcare communications, providing our unique brand of medical interpreting services in more than 250 languages - with nearly 60 of those available in video also - to more than 500 healthcare facilities nationwide.
